Care & Maintenance
- Keep the Scanner glass clean by wiping it with a lint-free cloth, lightly moistened with glass cleaner.
- Clean the outer surface by wiping it with a soft, clean, cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent diluted with water.
- Never spray liquids directly on the Scanner.
- Never store or place items on top of the Scanner.
Troubleshooting
Scanner is making a ‘clicking’ noise
- Check that the Scanner is unlocked.
- Locate the lock/unlock thumb switch located either on the back or the bottom of the Scanner.
- Move the thumb switch to the unlock position.
- The power light on the Scanner is not on
- Check the Scanner connections.
- Verify the Orange “C” labeled power cord on the back of the Scanner is connected correctly.
- Confirm that the Orange “C” labeled power cord is connected to the Orange “C” port into the Scanner.
- Confirm that the Orange “C” labeled power cord is connected to the black box.
- Confirm that the cable going out of the box is connected into the Surge protected Power Strip.
- Verify the Orange “4” labeled USB cable on the back of the Scanner is connected correctly.
- Confirm that the Orange “4” labeled USB cable is connected to the Orange “4” labeled port on the back of the Scanner.
- Confirm that the Orange “4” labeled USB cable is connected to the Orange labeled USB port in the back of the Controller.
- Press the RESUME/CANCEL button. This is the gray button located on the right front of the Printer next to the alarm LED.
- The scanned image is poorly displayed on the Touchscreen
- Check the Scanner glass for dirt or scratches.
- Inspect photo for bends or wrinkles. Poor quality photos will scan poorly.
- Photos or images printed on regular copy paper from a computer will not scan well.

- Check the Scanner glass for dirt or scratches.
- Inspect photo for bends or wrinkles. Poor quality photos will scan poorly.
